Our School
Principal's Welcome
Welcome to Good Shepherd School, Wheelers Hill. It is an honour to lead this vibrant school community, supported by a dedicated and passionate staff who come to school every day with enthusiasm and commitment. As Principal, my goal is to foster an environment of optimism and excitement where students, parents, and staff view each day as a purposeful journey. Intellectual engagement and real-world connections are top priorities, and we encourage dreams, ideas, and passions so that each individual has the opportunity to make a meaningful difference. Together, we strive to create classroom environments that reflect personalised learning and promote creativity, curiosity, and critical thinking. I want parents to feel welcomed and actively involved in their children’s education. Our aim is to exceed students’ expectations and for parents to anticipate positive outcomes for their children. It is also essential to me that our school remains a vital and energised part of the Parish community. I invite you to explore what our school has to offer. Notable highlights include our exceptional NAPLAN results, our dynamic Music program with strong partnerships with Mazenod College, and our commitment to prioritising student wellbeing by maintaining a safe environment where bullying is not tolerated. I look forward to meeting you and partnering in your child’s educational journey to help them reach their full potential. When you enrol your child at Good Shepherd, we warmly welcome your family into our community.
